The history of the Au-Schoppernau snow sports school
It's not just the times that are changing
Over the years, a small team of enthusiastic winter sports enthusiasts has grown into a highly diversified team of specialists who have mastered all types of winter sports.
Ski school office
Since the 2017/2018 season, the ski school has had a very modern office, which is equipped with a small kitchen, a large and bright work area and a dining area for the ski school children.
1990 - new childcare room
Of course, the building also had to be modernized on an ongoing basis, so it was given a basement with a childcare room and new toilet facilities.
The practice area also kept up with the times and technical aids were added, such as a conveyor belt and a children's carousel. A rope lift and a play tent completed the equipment for modern ski lessons. In the meantime, a total of three conveyor belts as ascent aids, an igloo, carousel and play tent have become permanent fixtures in the Kinderland.
2003 - Office expansion with PC
Werner Geiger takes over the management of the Au-Schoppernau snow sports school. With new vigour, the office was expanded and modernized with a PC and new sales program.
At peak times, the team of instructors now comprises up to 70 ski instructors, making it one of the largest ski schools in the Bregenzerwald.
